News Roundup: Zuma pleads for fair treatment and justice

Former president Jacob Zuma addressed the media in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal yesterday. Amidst the singing, dancing and support for Zuma, he pleaded for fair treatment and justice ahead of the Constitutional Court rescission application. He went on further to say that imprisonment would be a death sentence for someone his age.

In local entertainment news, Lee-Ann Liebenberg announced that she would be taking a break from social media. This after she suggested her husband and businessman Nicky van der Walt had an affair. Van der Walt released a statement on Instagram in full support of his wife and family. He asked for space to deal with marital troubles and expressed concern for Liebenberg’s deep PPD (postpartum depression).
