3. Where are you from?
My name is Dominique Cilliers. I am 19 years old, from the beautiful community Klipspruit West, Soweto.
4. Tell us a bit about your background and what your goals for the future are.
I was raised by two hardworking parents who always had my interests at heart.
I would like to pursue a career in law as an attorney and hope to one day own a Rehabilitation Centre. I am passionate about making a difference in local communities and helping the less fortunate.
5. How do you feel about being selected as a finalist for the Miss Soweto Pageant?
Being selected as a finalist for the Miss Soweto Pageant is an indescribable feeling – my tummy is constantly filled with butterflies! It is a huge achievement and something I’m proud to shout about.
I am a tenacious person. A person who never gives up and never stops trying. A person who does whatever is required to accomplish a goal, therefore I believe I have what it takes to be the next Miss Soweto because I will use this platform to shape young South African females into leaders, embrace their self-worth, own their voice and inspire others.
