Cape Town – The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) approved the Pfizer booster shot for Covid-19 yesterday. Booster shots will be administered to individuals over 18 years of age in the fight against the Omicron variant. To date, over 90 000 Covid-related deaths have been reported in South Africa.
