According to News24, the new chairperson of Eskom, Mpho Makwana, said that the board doesn’t plan to make any immediate changes to management while it looks at the power plants.
“We have to assume office and give the existing team the benefit of the doubt,” Makwana said. “Chief Executive Officer Andre de Ruyter’s heart is in the right place. We have to applaud him and support him for as long as he is group CEO”. Read more here

The Grammy winner, Kanye West held his Yeezy Season 9 fashion show in Paris on October 3. Many of the people who went to the show, like Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, took to social media to criticise his latest line.
After the fashion editor said what she thought about Kanye’s controversial clothes, he responded by posting photos of her with captions that made fun of her style, E! News reported. This made Gigi Hadid join the conversation to defend her.
“You wish u had a percentage of her intellect,” said Gigi. “You have no idea haha…. If there’s actually a point to any of your s–t. She might be the only person that could save u. As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion? Lol. You’re a bully and a joke.” Read more here
