Pyin Oo Lwin (Myanmar) (AFP) – People gather in the hills of central Myanmar to mark the annual Tazaungdaing light festival that marks the end of the rainy season in a fiery display of exploding hot air balloons. The festival in the former British hill station of Pyin Oo Lwin has not been held for two years because of the Covid pandemic and unrest following the military’s coup last year.
