Local gospel sensation and SABC Crown Gospel Award winner, Thinah Zungu has an amazing voice that can instantly put you in the spirit of the Lord, and lift your mood up in a special way – and it seems he has passed on the music gene to his eldest son, Ndumiso Zungu at the tender age of 9.
On 13 March, radio personality and businessman, Tbo Touch had the little boy and his star dad on his radio show, The Touchdown on Metro FM, and when young Ndumiso stepped behind the mic to sing one of his dad’s songs, he lit up the room with his angelic voice.
“He’s only 9 years old. Ndumiso Zungu joining his Dad Thinah Zungu. What an honour to see a father passing the gift of salvation to his son. I hope this segment of the show speaks to you situation. #ReplenishmentConcert” Tbo Touch wrote on Twitter.
Like many proud parents, Thinah is excited about his son’s future, “Remember his name because it will be a household name in the gospel genre Ndumiso “Bright” Zungu and the future is bright,” the proud dad wrote on a post on Instagram.
Thinah Zungu and Ndumiso are set to perform at the Taung Annual Gospel Festival on 1 April at PH Moeketsi Agricultural School in Taung, North West.
