Berlin (AFP) – Chinese Premier Li Qiang signs the guestbook of the German Presidency and shakes hands with the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier after his arrival at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin. China’s Premier Li Qiang, who is making his first trip abroad since being appointed premier in March, will meet German leaders in Berlin at a time when Beijing’s policies on Russia, trade and human rights are receiving an increasingly hostile reception in the West.
