Spend now, worry later: no point saving in inflation-stricken Argentina


Buenos Aires (AFP) – Despite a biting economic crisis, restaurants in Buenos Aires are full and queues for theater and concert tickets long. With inflation at 114 percent year-on-year and around eight percent month-on-month, Argentines figure they may as well spend their salaries before they lose more value.
