In Ukraine, The Arm Women Now initiative uses donations to create and sew uniforms to fit female soldiers, featuring slim-fit jackets, trousers with adjustable waists and comfortable sports bras, which it gives to soldiers for free. It’s a welcome change for the thousands of women who serve within Ukraine’s armed forces, who until now have only ever received uniforms designed for men. the design is now being tested for roll-out throughout the armed forces.
