Nonjabulo Gumede is remarkable Engineer and Managing Director of MAichatron, a multi-award winning mechatronics engineering company which majors in industrial automation, mechanical design and fabrication.
Nonjabulo holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
She is also an MBA candidate and a global shaper who is passionate about promoting women in engineering and empowering communities.
Nonjabulo Gumede is leading a change in Mechatronics; she has led SmartiPants Technologies in winning awards such as the iBelong Excellence Awards by Transnet for Operations Efficiency relating to their technology of automating the Durban Port through IoT technologies.
