Chris Brown credits South African schoolgirl Naledi Aphiwe on his new song Shooter, from his new album, 11:11.

A year ago, the American musician saw a video of the girl singing in her classroom with her classmates backing her; he posted the video on his social media account and said her voice is incredible.

The song the young girl sang tells the story of a young girl’s pain as she sings about how her father constantly sexually abused her. The lyrics are from a song, titled ‘uBaba Ulala Nami’ on South African rapper, Big Zulu’s latest album.

Chris sampled the song Aphiwe sang and credited her for it on the new album. South Africans applauded the international star for giving Naledi credit, making sure she profits from the sales too.
