Rugby player first female to be named Tuks Rugby player of the year

Libbie Janse van Rensburg, a University of Pretoria graduate recently became the first female rugby player to be named the Tuks Rugby player of the year.

She remarked, “I was shocked to hear the news, but it is an enormous honour to know that I am one of the women leading the charge to change the rugby world.”

Janse van Rensburg is now in charge of marketing at Tuks Rugby. She has a Bachelor of Sports Science (2017), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, Senior Phase and FET Teaching(2018), and a Bachelor of Arts Honours, Sport and Recreation Management (2019) from UP.
