According to Vodacom Soccer, Manchester United has announced the departure of Erik ten Hag as head coach following a series of disappointing results, including a recent defeat to West Ham. Appointed in April 2022, Ten Hag led the club to Carabao and FA Cup victories, but recent performances left United in the bottom half of the league. United co-owner Jim Ratcliffe initially backed Ten Hag, but with only three wins in nine league games, the club’s leadership opted to part ways. Ruud van Nistelrooy will serve as interim head coach while a search for a permanent replacement is underway.
