Heavily armed men kidnap 6-year-old boy in Cape Town – African Insider

Police in Cape Town has reportedly launched a manhunt after a 6-year-old boy was kidnapped on Wednesday morning.

Anti-crime advocate Yusuf Abramjee said in a tweet that little Shahnawaz Asgharwaz was kidnapped by six heavily armed men while on his way to school. Read more here.

Ex-Barcelona midfielder Puig: I couldn’t believe I was being called by the LA Galaxy! – Goal

New LA Galaxy signing Riqui Puig says he had trouble believing that the MLS club wanted to sign him from Barcelona. Puig made a summer move to the California club in early August on a contract that runs until 2025.

Much is expected of the 23-year-old in the United States, though he has missed the two MLS matches that the team played since announcing his signing.

Mampitsha and Babes Wodumo’s reality show returns for second season – African Insider

South African musicians Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane and her husband Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo’s reality show Uthando Lodumo has returned for a second season. The show will be aired on Showmax on September 1.

Mampitsha took to his Instagram timeline to give their fans a glimpse of the show’s first episode.
