Caracas (AFP) – Residents from neighbourhoods tackling high crime rates are being trained as basketball referees in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas, thanks to the initiative of NGO ‘Caracas Mi Convive’ that seeks to steer them away from violence in their communities.
