Canberra (AFP) – Australia says it will no longer recognise West Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, reversing a contentious decision by the previous conservative government. “The Australian government remains committed to a two-state solution,” says Australia’s foreign minister Penny Wong. “We will not support an approach that undermines this prospect.”
