On Tuesday, the South African Weather Service (SAWS) issued a Level 6 Orange Warning for severe thunderstorms in Gauteng. The weather warning signal indicates a high probability of severe weather-related consequences, the South African reports. “If in a vulnerable low-lying area, place valuable items on desks or cupboards for protection.
