French President Macron announces Franco-British mission to strengthen Ukrainian army


Paris (AFP) – A Franco-British mission will travel to Ukraine “in the coming days” to “prepare the structure of what the Ukrainian army of tomorrow will look like,” announces French President Emmanuel Macron during a press briefing following the Ukraine Security summit in Paris. European leaders agreed that sanctions against Russia should not be lifted, and instead ramped up, until Moscow halts its war against Ukraine.

Yoko the chimpanzee arrives at his new sanctuary in Brazil


Sorocaba (AFP) – Yoko, the chimpanzee, arrives at a sanctuary in Sorocaba, Brazil, to socialize with other chimpanzees. Yoko travelled to Brazil on March 23 from Colombia in the company of his veterinarian, Javier Guerrero. Kidnapped from his family as an infant, then raised by a drug lord before ending up in a Colombian zoo, Yoko the chimpanzee has lived the last two years of his life alone.
