Leadville (United States) (AFP) – Courtney Dauwalter is an ultramarathoner, meaning her runs go on for far longer than the typical 26 miles most runners face in a marathon. Dauwalter, 38, has won iconic long distance races such as “Hardrock 100” and “Ultra-trail du Mont-Blanc.” She describes the ultramarathoning experience as “buckling yourself into a roller coaster ride and taking it as it comes.”

Funeral held for victims of deadly attack in northern Nigeria
