Top News: Proteas need 305 runs to win test match

Cape Town – Today’s test match requires a new record as the Proteas need 305 fourth-innings runs to win. The first of three Tests against India takes place at Centurion Park where South Africa finished on 94/4 yesterday. Fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is confident that the Proteas can win. The test match starts at 10 am.

Last night Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was commemorated at Cape Town’s town hall. The service was attended by relatives, statesmen and activists. The City of Cape Town honoured Tutu by lighting the town hall in purple. The cortege will travel through the CBD this morning. Thereafter, Capetonians will have a chance to bid Tutu their final farewell at St George’s Cathedral.
